			<description><![CDATA[ <font color="#0033FF"><em>So how is everyone feeling today?  Here in San Diego most people are terrified of the Swine flu virus.  I know it&#39;s scary, esp.
for those folks whose immune system is whacked out anyway.  But we feel that if we take common sense precautions (wash hands often, etc.), that we should be
all right.  I&#39;m most worried about my mom right now, she&#39;s 87 and just lost my dad.  I couldn&#39;t stand it if something happened to her, too.

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi, I&#39;m Verna and I&#39;m new to this forum. I was diagnosed with OPCA in 1994 and quit teaching the same year. I&#39;ve become quite a burden for my
husband. I tried to help by going to a nursing home. It was not the answer. I am wheelchair bound and almost helpless on my left side. The frequent change of
staff made it hard for them to know me and for me to know them. They never knew that my left hand was so helpless. The table was always set so I coudn&#39;t

<p><span lang="EN">I guess it is my turn to vent. It has to do with pain. For the last several weeks, I have noticed several things happening to my limbs.
First of all, over the last few months, my arms and legs have become weaker. This is to the point that I cannot conduct physical activities that require
strength. Example are such activities of picking up a garbage can, lifting garden tools, getting out of a chair, just carrying items.</span></p>

			<description><![CDATA[ <font size="2">Ok, here we go again!   I had decided to go to UCSD (San Diego) for my neurological needs.....they are supposed to be cutting edge, etc.  I saw
a neuro in Nov. of last year, then again in Feb.  They ordered a slew of tests, of course.  MRI/brain, EEG, Psych/Neuro consult.

The Psych/Neuro was interesting; it showed marked and severe deficioncys in motor skills, spatial problems, some memory problems, I can&#39;t remember
